Disgusting show of "pass the buck" by CAPITEC

So during the lockdown I needed to pay my accounts and proceeded to load my beneficiaries onto my Capitec account which I might add I had just moved my salary to, after 12 years of shocking service with FNB. Capitec has "preloaded beneficiaries" and I selected the one and made my first payment on 26 April. I paid my second payment on 31st May. During the first week of June, I was unable to use my store card as my account was "in arrears" despite me showing them on the app that I had paid the account. Then started the long search to find what went wrong. Apparently the incorrect bank details were captured either by Capitec or the Store - they blame each other!! First, everytime I phoned Capitec, I was put on hold for at least 40 mins (which I am told by the branches is the normal), and was constantly promissed to "trace the Payment and reverse the funds." On 17th of June I went into a branch and lodged a complaint - This complaint was "closed" a week later and when I went into the branch AGAIN, I was told it had been closed. Still no refund. Another complaint lodged and I was told the "recall fee of R160" had to be paid too. Another week later and we still have no refund, however, Capitec do know where the money is and have requested an "interbank transfer". In the meantime it is once again end of the month (June) and I am being blacklisted for my store account. Upon further enquiry at the branch, the assistant branch manager has been an absolute star and followed up religiously. However, the "Regional Manager" just referred the call back to the call centre who claim they are "unable to contact me" and insist I once again must phone and hold for 40 minutes. And guess what? This call centre agent informs me TODAY that now the investigation "will start"......

Please explain to me, Regional Manager, why you are not authorised to issue this refund immediately as between you and the other bank you have had my money for nearly 3 months and i am STILL waiting for my refund????? How is this utter incompetance allowed and excused???

SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING at this time when every few rand matters!!!
