Disgusting service at Galleria Branch.
Disgusting service in Galleria, Amanzintoti. For the past 3 years I've worked at the same place and never had a problem with getting any type of credit. Capitec has been phoning me now for quite some time offering credit but now this branch tells me I have to supply a detailed salary slip (which I am an accountant and have never heard of). Nonny, the lady that helped me, defined a salary to be paid in on one day and only that amount is classified as your salary. If you get overtime on different dates that is not part of your salary. Capitec, please speak to SARS and tell them that too.

06 Oct 2022, 10:00I have not been contacted. One missed call while I was in a meeting and after that nothing. The return number is incorrect. The return number on the email I received is also incorrect and further there is no means of how to contact this person that was supposed to contact me. I have never struggled to get credit and all of a sudden Capitec seems to have the most useless head office and employees that can't even recognize that my net is basic minus tax... Not to mention wanting to add deductions that are not on my payslip.
PS - everyone out there that are more than one item on their payslip, don't bother going to Capitec. Their employees does not understand and apparently their system neither. Fuel allowance? Overtime? Commission? Nope, Capitec can't help you. All their adds.... They are just lying.

08 Oct 2022, 00:38Thank you Harrismith Capitec for the wonderful assistance and also thank you for explaining to me what went wrong. Capitec has two ways of evaluating income earned and all three Capitec branches in Durban (Galleria, Seadoone and Pavillion) are apparently only aware off the normal basic salary earned (as they said to me "we have never had this type off payslip" and after being on the phone with head office they still was not able to assist me). Because of this one off these branches locked my account and listed it as "********** activity". Luckily the Manager at Harrismith Capitec was brilliant and after I explained to her the full situation she was able to assist me to not only complete my credit application but also to get my profile removed from block status.
Capitec, please ensure proper training of your managers. Some are magnificent but it seems like some are costing the branch. In the end, truly thank you for all the help and time spent to assist me. Capitec truly does care about their clients.
