Disgusting Service

In October 2015 I went to Capitec to apply for a loan, at the time I app**** I already had a gym membership, ADSL account and a Bayport loan, the adviser who assisted me told me I qualify for a loan of R25000, the monthly installment was going to be R2700 my salary at the time I app**** was R5700… I explained to him that I cannot afford this, he then told me that I should take the loan because Capitec has a value added service where clients with loans can come into the branch to extend the term and bring down the installment, because I believed everything the consultant told me. I took the loan. After the first installment went off I went to Capitec to extend the term.. I was then told that I had to wait 4months and it was subject to an affordability assessment. Since I had this loan I have been struggling to meet my minimum monthly expenses and I have been complaining at various stores. Till to date nothing has been done to rectify this. I had no choice but to approach and attorney and the National Credit Regulator. I then relodged a complaint only to receive a generic response stating Capitec does not borrow recklessly. They have failed to address the ******** provisions that the loan was taken out and they have failed to address the various lies told to me… and the funny thing is,, the moment i missed a payment they were quick to contact me.
