Disgusted by Capitec Service

I've been a Capitec client for a number of years. My account has been in good standing. October 2023, got a Tax refund from SARS for VAT, for my business.

Subsequent to that, my account be put on hold for obvious reasons (lump-sum payment, ***** alert, etc)

A reassessment was done and SARS reprocessed refund.

19 February 2024 requested that SARS send TPA to Capitec for verification. Kelly Hector; your employee responded stating that they are unable to action my account because of some “restriction”

To date - you guys are unnecessarily sending me from pillar to post for justified funds in my personal account and this is where my frustration comes in. I don't appreciate the ridiculously low level of service I am receiving!

Boniswa Makau, another of your employees, sent an email to SARS to clarify they legitimacy of the TPA then SARS responded to say they should action the account account to the TPA then the bank will decided on what will happen about the account of which in my own understanding as SARS TPA is clearly stating that they requesting R3.6m with balance being due to me.

This is ridiculous, I'm so frustrated. The amount of run-arounds I am subjected to are not fair at all. I am now told my account is under investigation by your Forensics division - turnaround times are not clear, no one is prepared to provide conclusive feedback, is this fair practice Capitec???? TPA was clear, what else do you need to release my funds???? So disappointed, considering I have been a loyal client since day1. This disgusting service is really making me second guess my client status!

Who's is liable for the interest that has increased on the balance that needs to be paid to SARS as they were aware from November that a potion of funds needs to go back to SARS and they have ignored all my attempts even when I approached capited with the Final letter of Demand.

It's the 25th of Feb today the account is still not actioned.

Is this fair ?
