I have been denied the opportunity to open a bank account for my son at Capitec Bank Wonderpark entrance 3. I hold a spousal visa section 11(6) which is a visitors visa for spouse with condition to work and I am employed. They told me they need a work Visa. Capitec Bank please review this or train your staff, a spousal visa is still a temporary visa not only a work visa is considered a temporary visa. I felt very discriminated. I also had a bank account closed when I moved from work permit to spouse visa with work condition. Can a foreign spouse not open a bank account because I am a spouse even though I work?
