Capitec declined my application for a credit card, without the decency of even giving a reason! My income is 1700% more than the required salary! And my credit rating is almost 90%. There is no reason to decline me except for the major incompetence of Capitec. Thank you Capitec. I am closing all my accounts with Capitec, selling all my shares and fixed deposits, and advising all my friends and family to do the same. Investec (or even ABSA!) will be more than happy to take my business. Goodbye and good riddance.
