Disappointing Capitec

1. I have been told the selfie security facility only works on Android 14. I have a Redmi 9 with Android version 12 SP1a. The Xiaomi updater does not offer any later versions. Therefore it appears that I cannot use Capitec cellphone app on this phone.

2. I have been told that I can use Capitec system on either my laptop with token, or on my cellphone, but not both. If this is the case I believe Capitec must make this information widely available to all existing and prospective clients.

3. Because my app account appears to have been suspended, I cannot recharge my Capitec Connect, even using the USSD codes. I am effectively without cellphone access and bank account access. So far, no one has offered a practical solution.

4. The whatsapp facility for interacting with Capitec just stopped 4 days ago. All efforts to get a response have failed, including phoning, email and whatsapp.

5. I have since opened an account with another bank without any of these issues.
