Disappointed

My husband took out a loan with Capitec and couldn't pay he was handed over to collections and we understood why because he was in arrears. last year in June he managed to settle the loan, but the issue is that this department he was handed over to does not answer any calls and they did not tell my husband that he needs a paid-up letter and send it to Capitec's legal department he paid, the guy that was assisting him said he will do everything he does not need to worry. and now he is trying to get another loan, but he can't because he is blocked by Capitec that he settled over a year ago. he has been to the branches several times to try and sort this out only a lady in the Khayelitsha branch was willing to assist will all the right information and she even called cs for a way forward the rest on the other people dismissed him without telling him what to do or find help. this is supposed to take over a month to settle but it won't because Capitec's collection department is not reachable, and it is inconveniencing because what is point of paying Capitec loans if you will not be cleared on credit bureaus after you have settled the loan.
