Difficulty of closing a Capitec Bank credit card account

07 December 2023, i called capitec bank with the attempt of closing/terminating a credit card account, i was transferred to multiple departments then was referred to collections department. They highlighted that there was an outstanding amount, which i made a payment same time and it was confirmed.

I was then instructed to refrain from using the credit card for a period of four weeks, so that the closure can be actioned.

I made a follow up last week of January 2024, i was told that there is an outstanding amount again on the credit card.

I asked them to call me so that i can understand why but i was never contacted, till today my query has not been resolved

This is realy a dissapointing service.
