December salary not paid on the 8th.

I feel very annoyed that having a access account that has been paid on date every month since opening it I now get messages of arrears and the collection department phoning me from the 8th of December saying my account is in arrears. As last December and everyone before I do NOT get paid on the 8th, who does? My pay day is on the 22nd and if they debit on the correct date as every month they will get their money as they have every month. Never a payment missed or late! I better not be listed or have my very good credit scoring blackened by their incompetence. I feel like closing it all and moving to a proper bank.
