Deceased estate funds not transfered- whilst the Bank gets interest on the funds

In February 2016 I approached Capitec bank with a deceased account (My fathers), we wanted to withdraw the money in the account for his funeral. We went to the nearest branch (The Glen) with all the documentation, certified and all (ID copies, Death certificate, account statements), we were then told to go get a Letter of authority from the Magistrate, which we did within 2 days. We were then told that the money would take 2-4 days to reflect in in my account. It didnt :-(. After the funeral I went back to Capitec Bank to find out whats happeneing with the money, there was some or other document missing which delayed the transfer, it was submitted, now I was to wait 10 days further for the funds to show in the account. which they did not, again. I go back to the branch to find out whats the delay and oh the consultants forgot to tell me they need an affidavit from the children of the deceased that the money can be processed, this was given to them within a day (another 10 days wait surely....). Days go by, i go back to the branch, the consultant tells me, the legal department needs another affidevit from you acknowledging that you are in agreement with the other affidevit... Ok (this must be a test...) I complete an affidavit as per instruction, I submit it and again I am told the payment will take 4- 10 days for it to reflect. 10 days is past and I call to branch to follow-up on the payment and the consultant tells me that someone from head office will contact me shortly. A lady from Capitec's Legal department calls me to let me know that the documentation that I have submitted is outdated- I need to provide them with recent documents (the ones submitted in Feb are now outdated!!!) and that the affidavit is not clear, this is after another 10 days of waiting. In total this process has taken me 5 months of back and forth and no funds in my account.

1. I have used my time, money, petrol working going back at forth to the branch to query about this, and the odesity to be told by the legal consultant that Its not her fault that the branch is not requesting correct documentation from me, beats me.

2. The odesity that the branch consultant tells me that she is on my side, when clearly branch and head office are not aligned beats me.

Sorry CAPITEC- I want my money and am not willing to wait another 10 days!!!!!
