Debt consolidation not an option???

We wanted to consolidate the loans with Capitec several months ago (more than 6 months) and were told that 6 months need to go by before we could do so. Although we did request for payment holiday due to the fact that I as my wife's husband did not earn any salary during lockdown (which is back to normal now) - all our payments was always up to date and never missed a payment. We tried to consolidate the loans again but with several excuses. Should capitec not come to the party then we will revert the matter to the ombudsman or as it is way past the 6 months period and we would not had to go for the payment holiday option if the loans were consolidated as a better rate would have been given with only only installment. Obviously Capitec is benefiting from the if the loans is not consolidated.
