Debit order deducted on incorrect date

Most disappointed with Capitec with regards to deducting their monthly debit order on the incorrect date. I have never missed a payment on my loan with Capitec. In December 2017, with public holidays of Xmas day and boxing day being on a Monday and Tuesday, Capitec decided to deduct my loan on Friday 22nd. My bank charged me a R55 fee for insufficient funds and will obviously affect any future credit rating for me. In my business we get paid on 25th of every month and if the date falls on a Sunday or public holiday we get paid on the next business day - in this case the 27th December. When I spoke to an agent who called me on 27th, I complained about this situation and all he said was "we assumed that people would be paid early for December". This is totally unacceptable and I want Capitec to not only refund my R55 but I want a letter sent to my bank to inform them that it was not my fault and that it will not affect future credit ratings which they should prove to me by providing my latest credit rating which they obviously have access to! I have a deduction for my motor vehicle finance with Nedbank and they got it right, so why not Capitec. Not Impressed to say the least.

Well what a surprise! No response as promised. Too busy dealing with the Viceroy report? Well I'm beginning to think there is some truth in this report. I've asked for statements by email on numerous occasions, to no avail yet I get treated terribly even though I haven't missed a payment. Obviously chasing those delinquent fellows to offer them new loans? Viceroy may have a point as well as Benguela Fund Managers.
