Kindly note we are unable to assist with disputing/stopping debit orders on this platform or the call centre. Please visit the branch for the debit to be disputed. Please be advised, a fee of R30.00 will be charged. Alternatively, if you have the Capitec app you may dispute any debit order with the amount being under R800 on the app by following the below steps. Please be advised, a fee of R6.00 will be charged: To dispute debit orders, please follow these steps on the App. • Transact (on the menu band at the bottom of the screen) • Debit orders • Select the debit order you would like to dispute. • Dispute. • Next. • Choose the reason. • Next. • Accept the agreement If the option to dispute is not available on your App, it means the debit order cannot be disputed. This is based on the terms of the debit order agreement. These debit orders can only be disputed by calling the debiting company. PLEASE NOTE: If the debit order you are looking to dispute is above R800 you will need to visit a Capitec branch to dispute it as your biometrics are required to ensure security.
