My mother has deposited R6 000 to my Capitec bank account today and i then transferrd the money to the other saving plan that is still with Capitec bank.

To my surprise the deposit fees escalated to amount R102.00 and the Tranfer fees amounted to R75.00.

That was not the initial agreement between me and the Capitec Bank the time i was openning my account, they have shared that the deposit fee is R1.25 per R100 and transfers between the saving plan accounts are free.

I then called Capitec to find out what is happening and i did not have a concrete answer. could they explain what is happening

I can confirm that for every R 100.00 handled by the cashier at the branch a R 1.70 is charged as a cash handlying fee. I was able to see that charge reflect on your statement. I was however, unable to refer to any inter account transfer fee of R 75.00 which you are referring to.
