Day Light *******

I am very concerned in the way Capitec conducts business. I placed an order with Woolworths online and used my Capitec card to make a payment. Immediately the order amount was deducted from my account. Then a day after i received my goods from Woolworths my account got deducted again in favor of Woolworths. I called Woolworths to inquire why they deducted my account twice and was advised that the initial amount is pending and i will be refunded within 48 hours. I then called Capitec to find out why they allowed Woolworths to deduct my account twice as i did not give authorization for the decond deduction. Capitec then informed me that their system is not showing that the initail order amount was deducted from my account but they can see the sms sent to me showing the funds left my account. Very furious i called Woolworths again and advised that this is a issue with Capitec. I now need to go into a branch and get a reference number so that Capitec can release the initial order amount back into my account. I am so angry as it seems no one at Woolworths or Capitec can resolve this for me over the phone. I have to be inconvenienced by going into a branch to get my own back. Why is there a option to shop online then. SO i honestly do not have the time to visit a Capitec branch and sit in a line to get my own money back. I also want to know why is it that the customer care agents at Capitec cannot see the funds pending but Woolworths advised me that it is there and Capitec requires a letter from them with a reference number to release my funds. This is pathetic that you are not able to resolve my issue telephonically. I cannot afford to be double paying for things then struggle to get my money back in the middle of the month. Can someone please contact me to have this resolved because i am quite sure the NCR would be interested in Capitec releasing funds to a credit provider when the consumer gave no authorisation.
