There were a online purchase made out of my account that I didn't authorize through the app. I phoned capitec bank and notified them immediately of the transaction. The payment were still pending. According to capitec the pending payment can't be stopped unless a dispute is being launched and the investigation is completed. My frustration with capitec is that it is my money (Not money that capitec put into my account, and that I have notified the ***** department with in minutes of the incident and that they are not willing to protect there customers immediately through measures to hold on to the pending payment launch the investigation and on the outcome off the investigation proceed with the payment or refund it back into my account. Isn't this a risk to capitec it self because the money has been paid over to the *****sters in the mean time . If the investigation proof to be ***** and the *****sters has withdraw the money from there account, how is capitec getting the money back. I have done some of my own investigation and it shows that the so called company by who the *****sters made the purchase is not a legit company and was most probably created by the *****sters them self. Conclusion: If money disappear from your capitec account do not expect capitec to protect there clients funds. There will be no immidiate action taken from capitec side. Surely capitec can see if I were online at the time of the transaction to authorise, from wich devise and a estimated location where it was authorised from. Capitec awaiting your response?????
