Credit Card insurance not covering retrenchment

I was retrenched last year and told Capitec call centre agent this as I couldn't pay my credit card installment. I was notified that she made a note on the system. Now I'm getting harassed by MBD with up to 3 phone calls a day. My question is this: what happened to my credit card insurance that is supposed to cover retrenchment? If the insurance is useless then please refund me all my insurance installments so that I can use that to pay my outstanding credit card debt. Capitec is fast becoming synonymous with taking their clients for a ride
