Confused and unhelpful Capitec

My husband's account with Capitec was handed over to BF attorneys. After making payment arrangements, a payment was made to BF attorneys. BF attorneys advised that the account was handed back to Capitec. He contacted Capitec and requested that they liaise with me. They requested for power of attorneys in order to discuss the account with me. He sent them an email giving consent, the email was rejected by Capitec as they wanted signed power of attorney. Capitec then sent another email on the same day advising that the Account was with Blake attorneys. My husband contacted Blake attorneys and gave them consent to liaise with me. The attorneys immediately contacted me. They advised that they would allocate the first payment and I made arrangements for R250.00 to be paid by 07 Sept 2018. On 06 Sept 2018 I erroneously paid R2500.00 instead of R250.00. I contacted the attorneys for a refund. They then advised that the account was handed back to Capitec. I called Capitec and was advised that the account still with Blake attorneys but they would assist with a refund. I sent a request to Capitec and provided them with correspondences between myself and the attorneys. Instead of getting a refund, I get a response today saying that I must provide with power of attorney. I called the collection department and the agent refused to speak to me but she did say that the account is still with Blake attorneys but also with Capitec?????. (Blake attorneys called me twice today and confirmed that the account is with Capitec. 1. Capitec moves the account all over the show which has resulted in two payments laying with 2 attorneys 2. Capitec referred us to their attorneys and I have been liaising with them since my husband gave power of attorney but they cannot discuss with me because they don't even know whether the account is with them or not. 3. from the correspondences that I provided Capitec, it is clear that I have been negotiating payments on behalf of my husband. 4 where is my money and who exactly is handling the account? Capitec cannot refer clients to attorneys and once the clients have established contact with the attorneys, they move the account to God knows where and expect clients to start the process from the beginning

instead of resolving this matter, my husband got a response from Capitec regarding the refund. They attached statement from May 2015 to Feb 2016 "According to our records, no payment of R2500.00 was received on your account. Please provide us with proof of payment to assist with your query" How many times must proof of payment be submitted? How can the money reflect on their statement dated 2015 to 2016 when we are querying payments made to BF attorneys on 17 August 2018 and to Blake and Ass on 06 September 2018? Do they update comments on their system? Do they safe customers documents? Proof of these payments was submitted. Really. It's as if they just want to close their queries without any proper investigation or readying
