Concerned about insufficient transaction fees

I have a new account with Capitec and noticed fees being taken for insufficient transactions. I don't understand. If I have my card with me and did not use it, how can there be transactions for insufficient funds? I'm trying to contact the call centre but the call is dropped or the "number is not available at present" The fees are not large amounts but this could mean that someone is checking out my account and I am concerned
