Cheque special clearance

<p>My husband deposited a cheque into his capitec account this morning- cheque is from Post Bank. After he deposited the cheque he was told that the money will be accessible after 14 days in his account. This however was very frustrating as we needed the cash immediately as we are in a process of buying a car. He then asked that the cheque be given back to him as he wanted to get it cashed out at Post Bank, but were told it was already processed. After much frustration and depression, I called the branch manager whom very nicely suggested that he would put in a special request for the clearance. However, this also will take 8-10 working days. </p> <p> </p> <p>We need this money as a matter of urgency within 3 days and would like to know whether there is no other way this could be dealt with. This is now so depressing on us and would appreciate any help!!!!!!!</p>
