Cheque clearance 14 days at Capitec

I called the customer service to ask how long it takes to clear cheques deposited and the response was 14 days,but in a very irritated tone.This was the second time a callcentre agent were talking to me in that tone and I thus will contact another bank to switch to if I cannot receive respectful service.Also, waiting14 days to clear cheques is far longer than any bank!
