Card Stopped, yet bank released a card payment.
I bank with Capitec. I had a subscription on my card, which automatically renewed. The card was stopped on the 27th of January. A new card was issued. On the 31st of January Capitec released the payment linked to my "old" card. How can this be if a new card was issued. how could the bank process a transaction 3 days later after my card has been stopped?
