Card cloning

Hello,

My brother was a victim of ***** for the second time when his bank card was cloned . The withdrawals took place in Johannesburg CBD and he was in Carletonville at that time and please note he did not receive any notifications on his mobile whilst the transcations took place. He then approached the Carletonville branch as he couldn't withdraw funds on the ATM, he was then advised that he doesn't have funds in his account. The staff at the branch were unempathetic and could not provide a solution to his problem. Surely Capitec has a ***** division which investigates such cases and should have a process in place to validate card cloning and compensate their client. Please help us resolve this immediately as he has no money to meet his financial obligations.

Regards,

Thuli
