Captiec traking Customers for a Interest Ride??
So my partner transferred R37200 to my FNB account on 24th December 2020 from her Capitec Savings account, when contacted today, 28th December 2020, as to why the funds had not as yet reflected in transferee's account ,we were advised it takes 48hrs to transfer funds and holidays and public holidays are excluded. When I queried the excessive time I was told be the Call Center lady that Capitec operated "differently"to other Banks? Question is who earns the INTEREST on the money in Cyberspace??? I can imagine that Millions of Rands is in cyberspace and someone must be benefitting, i.e. Earning interest on these funds, certainly not the Transferor, or the Transferee. Can only imagine the Banks?? The consumer is being "stung"here and its not right!!!! In this day and age how can it take this long for funds to be transferred??? Also Capitec takes a unacceptable time to do transfers, and when questioned I was told "Capitec does not operate like other banks????" Sounds to me like someone is making money at consumers expense!! ********* practice:(((((
