Upon creating our company account through the mobile app, we encountered a significant issue where the registered company name was incorrect, being the director's name instead. Despite reaching out to Capitec's business support for assistance, we were informed that correcting the name was not possible. Instead, we were instructed to create a new company profile, with the assurance that our funds would be transferred upon request. This raises several concerns:

How was the original company name accepted without verification against CIPC? Why is it impossible to rectify an incorrect company name, especially considering legal requirements for accurate business documentation? Shouldn't Capitec verify company names as mandated by law? Unfortunately, our troubles escalated after creating the second company profile. Despite numerous attempts, approximately 10, to create a digital ID for the new profile, we faced persistent obstacles. Capitec offered various explanations for the issue, yet the problem remains unresolved.
