Capitec's "monthly" SendCash limit isn't monthly, has no visible start date, and nobody can tell me when it resets
Capitec's app has blocked me from SendCash since 1 October, saying I'd exceeded my monthly limit. I raised it with Client Care on 3 October. Since 1 October I had sent only one order, for R500.
Client Care told me the limit runs on a rolling 30 days, not the calendar month, and that limits can't be changed. They couldn't tell me when the 30 days start or end, or when I'd be able to use SendCash again.
How do you enforce a limit without a defined start date? If the system can block me, it should be able to tell me exactly when it unblocks.
Other problems: Calling it a "monthly" limit is misleading. A client can be blocked from the first day of a new month despite barely using the service. Aliyah transferred my query to Neo without telling me. Neo then started the conversation without any greeting or introduction. I asked for escalation and was given no reference number.
What I need: A clear explanation of the limit in the app, a visible reset date, a true calendar-month limit, and a formal escalation with a reference number. @CapitecBank
