Capitec Won't Release Funds For Amazon Purchase

I made a purchase on Amazon UK. Amazon does pre-authorisation and a large amount was deducted for my order. It's been 4 days and my order didn't ship. I spoke to Amazon, and it's due to Capitec not releasing the fund. I spoke to customer care at Capitec and they told me they need a letter. All I have is the authorisation code. AMAZON DOES NOT PROVIDE AN AUTHORISATION LETTER.

I was told by Capitec just to wait 15 days for my funds back. I do not want it back, I want it released!

Please make sure this case is assigned directly to a manager as the consultants does not have the authority to release pending funds and I am tired explaining the situation over and over.

So far no one has contacted me. Funds are still pending in my account, even though the order has been cancelled. All Capitec needs to do is to reverse it back to my account. Wonder if the roles were reversed if Capitec would like it if I withhold their funds.

I have sent Capitec an email that I received from Amazon and still so far, I have not received a response from Capitec. And the funds also have not been reversed from Pending back into my account. I have nothing and I need to live. This horrible and seems to be a Capitec issue if I look at complaints. Give me my money back or I will report CAPITEC to SAPS for theft. Banks are not above the law
