Capitec utterly useless and bad attitude...back to big boy banks for big boy service

This bank has now become too big, but can only do small things. They have become just like all the other banks, instead of being better than them.....Maybe they are worse now.. and have lost the plot.

I have 2 major issues and they cannot seem to be able or wanting to assist.

1) My son is a minor and has an account under my details...He has lost his card...Capitec is unwilling and unable to resolve the matter, so my son is stuck and I cannot transfer funds to his account. I am overseas and capitec cannot even phone me to confirm details and get the issue sorted. ABSA even phoned me last week to sort my account issues with them, as I am now forced to move back to ABSA. At least ABSA can WhatsApp too, while capitec is just not willing to do so...or don't know yet what it is... This brings me to the second HUGE issue.. 2) Since I am working abroad, I receive international transfers...But capitec cannot accept the funds...they cannot even phone me and communicate with me. I have lost lots of money, phoning them and holding on forever, via international phone calls. Their response time for forex is extremely poor at 7 days, if you are lucky...I have had family phone their forex division constantly trying to get some form of communication...From the 9 times they said they would call me back, it realised only 3 times. And then you are talking to a snotty person with a serious attitude!!

You suck, Capitec. Learn to use mod4rn technology, like WhatsApp.
