CAPITEC STOLE MY MONEY

Capitec just takes money from your savings account even with prior arrangements, I had an overdue loan due to not being able to afford it for a long time, I phoned the bank and requested to make an arrangement, the lady on the phone told me that a note had been added to the system, 4 days later some funds paid in and it was taken straight away, not by means of a debit order "scheduled transfer" thats right capitec can just take any amount of money from your SAVINGS account, I phoned the bank again and explained what happened this time the call centre agent said that there is no record of any notes on the system but that she was assisting me to make an arrangement. Not trusting that it would have been done I then went to the branch and an agent at the branch also assisted me in making the same arrangement. This morning R16000 was paid in to my account from SARS, Capitec immediately deducted the full amount not sparing a single cent, I have now spent nearly 4 hours in between branches and phone calls and just got off the phone with a very rude "team leader" at their collections department who basically told me that the arrangement was not based on the money coming from SARS, if it had been a salary the arrangement would have been honored. How does this work??? What does it have to do with Capitec who pays money into my account? Why was I told on 2 phone calls and a in branch agent that there is an arrangement and then they still just take my money outright.

Within 5 days, is not Immediate Capitec, you took my only income for the next 30 days and you took all of it. Please tell me what to do for 5 days then with no means of transport no food nothing??? I have made 11 phone calls to you call centre today alone, not a single person has phoned me back. I will be taking this to facebook and a few thousand twitter followers as well, how do you just take peoples money? With arrangements in place?

Capitec has reversed given back 50% of the funds owed to me, I have since been in contact with the national credit regulator and have been informed that is is infact Ilegal for the bank to move any funds in my account to another account without permision which was not given, you are in direct contravention of the consumer protection act. I am still not happy that the matter has been resloved.
