Capitec staff not compliant with FAIS Regulations!!

Warning all Capitec clients or potential clients . They will offer you credit then they will insist on you taking their credit insurance which is extremely expensive but they force you to take it . The Capitec bank consultants who sell you the insurance are not trained or compliant with FSCA or FAIS regulations and they tell you when you take the insurance that you will be covered if you become unemployed BUT when you do become unemployed they will tell you that you don’t have cover and if you insist on seeing your credit insurance policy wording they will hum and ha then when they give it to you and you try calling any of the numbers in your contract guess what? they don’t work and you end up in a maze with no way out. Please you have been warned Capitec is purposely taking advantage of their clients who don’t understand insurance!! ITS A DISGRACE THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!
