Capitec retrenchment insurance

Capitec loan insurance is *****. I took a loan with capitec and I was told if I get retrenched the insurance will pay my loan. I got retrenched and went to capitec to apply that I got retrenched. I was told the application takes 3 months and I must make payment arrangements, how or where should I get that cash for those arrangements they don’t care. I app**** for UIF so those were my arrangements. Every month I was left with nothing from my UIF because they debited Immediately my UIF entered my account.

I have waited my 3 months and now I got an sms saying my insurance was approved but I should wait 60 days for the payment to be done and I should make other arrangements for that 60 days. I mean I waited 3 months now another 60 days! That is just *****. Capitec is just draining me out of any money I have, I mean I don’t work and my UIF is not that much. Capitec please stop lying to customers about your insurance that has a 3 month waiting period that doesn’t make sense then on top of that another 60 days that totally doesn’t make sense just to drain all of me till am nothing.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to take a capitec loan.

I honestly cannot believe what Capitec just told me when I was called. I was told some of my documents were misplaced and now that they are found, I have to pay the extra 2 months added on top of the three months. Does any of that make sense to anyone? How is it my problem that someone in your department misplaced my documents and nothing was said to me the whole three months and now I must pay for your mistakes. Can my matter please be escalated to the top and be resolved because I can't be paying two more months. Your websites says the waiting period is three months so please do what is right as I have done my three months. I will have to seek help somewhere else as I can see I wont be helped. You keep on saying you will call me back but no one does. Next week you will be making a debit order of the loan from my UIF and still the matter is not resolved.
