Capitec refusing to help my aunt
Good morning I’m writing this message on behalf of my aunt Ntombizanele Dolly Higa who was ******* by a man who works for Clietele and named himself Sizwe.
My aunt told him that she is unemployed therefore will not be able to take a policy.
This man then said my aunt should give him her ID and bank card as proof he will submit that he spoke to her.
This happened on Thursday 05-May-2022 and on the same day they deducted R98 from her account.
She now fears that they will take her Ramaphosa R350. They’re also planning to deduct money on the 23rd.
Capitec is refusing to stop this debit order and refusing to close her account. A consultant at Capitec said that my aunt must instead transfer the money to another account. My aunt-who I don’t stay in the same house with-doesn’t know much about technology. She uses her phone for calls only.
Can this debit order be stopped for good, can she be reimbursed immediately and can Clientele stop taking advantage of the elderly.
