Capitec refusing to change debit order date

I'm not one to run to Hello Peter or social media when I'm not happy with service delivery, but it seems Capitec only resolves issues swiftly when complaints end up on these platforms.

I took a loan on the 24th of December 2019. I was advised that my credit agreement would be emailed through to me to double check all the details.

I never received the contact and contacted Capitec on the 9th of January for a copy of the agreement to check. I checked all the details and noticed that the debit order date was incorrect. The debit order was loaded for the 29th of January and I only get paid on the last day of each month.

I emailed the two individuals who assisted me with the application to get the debit order date changed and also emailed though conformation from my HR department stating that our next pay date will be on the 31st of January 2020.

The individual then advised that nothing can be done and that I had to contact the Capitec collections department or the complaints department.

I contacted the collections department on the 9th of January at 17:56 and was assisted by a gentleman who advised that the incorrect company details were loaded on my contract. (the correct details were on the payslips sent through for the application) He explained that the debit order date is set automatically according to the company details they load on each application. He then put a request through to get the correct details loaded.

I contacted the collections depart again on the 13th of January at 11:13 to follow up on the request only to find out that the request wasn't loaded on my profile by the individual who assisted me on the 9th of January.

Another request was sent through on 13th of January to get the correct company details loaded and I was told to phone back in three days to follow up on the request.

I contacted the collections department on the 20th of January at 13:43 to follow up again, the call dropped after waiting six minutes.

I contacted the collections department once more on the 21st of January at 08:47 to follow up on my request, I was advised that the company details were changed, but once again the debit order date was incorrect. It has now been loaded for the 30th of January after making it very clear that I only get paid on the last day of the month.

Out of frustration I sent an email through to the complaints department on the 22nd of January at 11:56 explaining the problem I'm facing and attaching a copy of my employment contract as well as 12 payslips as proof of pay date. I have not received a response to date.

I sent the email to the complaints department again on the following days:

23 January 2020 at 14:55 NO RESPONSE 24 January 2020 at 16:15 NO RESPONSE 27 January 2020 at 14:15 NO RESPONSE

Should the debit order go off on the 30th of January it will bounce back and it will have a negative affect on my clean credit score.

The lack of service from Capitec is appalling to say the least.

@Donorique Wessels - Could you please assist me with this issue?

Feedback in 5 days would be too late. The debit order is scheduled to go off tomorrow and needs to be changed immediately.
