Capitec preying on vulnerable customers

I have been retrenched and have submitted all relevant document to Capitec. The loan i have with them has insurance which covers for such events. Since my retrenchment, any amount that goes into my account they debit it. I dont have an income and deped on people to help me with small moneys to make a living and when they debit it i have nothing left to buy bread with.

I went to the branch to complain about this and they insisted i make an arrangement to pay back the loan regardless of me telling them that i am unemployed and they have the documents. I was then advised to open a different account to avoid such debits which is not helping as my name will be blacklisted.

I feel i am being ****** by Capitec, they preying on vulnerable customers. for every cent that goes into my account they feel its their money and debits it. I need this matter sorted out and for every cent debited from the day i got retrenched to be paid back to me. The insurance on the loan should cover my loan as per signed agreement.

Name: JP Rapanyane
