capitec pay back our money

on the 27th of november my husband got ****med 35 000 by a motor dealership later that day he went to capitec to open a ***** case on his way home he got a call from a guy claiming to be calling from capitec *****ulent team, he told him he sees that he just opened a case of ***** at boksburg branch and he confirmed his full names, id and ref no he got from capitec. Thats when my husband believed that he is really from capitec as he has all the details. The guy took all the money from my husban's accounts claiming to put in into safe accounts not knowing he is also ****ming him. The total money we were ****med is R124000 including the one car dealership ****med us. Now capitec is telling us that there is nothing they can do as the funds were all cleaned out from those ****mers's accounts. we really want our money capitec, how did this guy get all the information he got? wat about POPIA if it was so easy to get through your system n ***** all this information?
