Capitec Paid up loan cleared 15 years ago

A paid up loan with proof ( Paid up letter from Real People) Transunion and Experian both showing account paid up and closed Arguably so that account was handed over but it is paid... But 16 years later I still cannot transact with Capitec except to hold an account with them. No credit after 15 years clean??
