Capitec Not so Simplified banking

Capitec Bank is not simplifying anything. I have been with capitec for the longest time, I have all of their services. I just wanted to change my Surname as I have gotten married and they are making it such a big issue. I don't have the Original Marriage Certificate because I don't really have the time to go to home affairs. I have the Original Registration Papers from the Commissioner of Oath and I already have my new ID. But they refuse to accept any of it. It seems like it would be much easier to open an account with a different bank because my ID already has my new surname.
