Capitec my clear my name

In March 2020 I took a short term personal loan for R7000 which I was expected to pay over a period of six months. The very same month I took the loan was the month the president introduced the lock down, which resulted in being without a salary for 5 months, within that 5 months I was relying on U.I.F therefore I couldn't pay my monthly loan repayments in full, the only option for me was to make payment arrangements up until I finished paying off the loan. As soon as I went back to work, I settled the loan. I am surprised as to how they could label me not creditworthy, now I cannot purchase a car through finance because my credit is ruined. Please help me clear my name.
