Capitec missing payment payshap
I am so disappointed at Capitec. I send my daughter money almost daily as she is a student via payshap. I did a payment today of 1350 and my daughter did not receive it. I called Capitec and all the consultants can't give me an answer, yet they say they can see the transaction. One consultant even asks me to send my daughter's bank statement to his email address to verify she didn't receive the money. I duly do that. Yet they still have not credited the money to my daughter or reversed it to me. Terrible , what's the point of paying for payshap when the person doesn't get the money . Till now no response

23 Apr 2026, 11:29I am absolutely horrified by the service I recieved. Nobody called me. I had to call. 3 differnet consultants give me 3 differnet stories. One says she must transfer me to another dept, another says they don't know where the funds are and another speaks and cuts the call. So as we stand. I have all the proof and Capitec cannot give me my money back or pay it to the beneficiary. So where is money. Worst experience ever

23 Apr 2026, 16:33Capitec still have not resolved my issue and continue to duck and dive. I get an email from Khanyisa mpofana from complaints who says they tried to get hold of me. And says I have 48 hrs to get back to her. Yet leaves no contact number. I call immediately to Capitec yet nobody can put me through to her. As I have all the proof , I will be going to every news outlet and media platform possible to expose this theft. They want to cheat me of a lousy 1350. I won't take the this lying down

24 Apr 2026, 21:24Ok so after much effort and many many calls to eventually I asked to speak to a manager. Her name was zainub, she was amazingly helpful and reassured me that funds would be incoming today and she kept her word. Thank you zainub. Good work. The funds were receieved
