Capitec Midrand withholds money from domestic worker

I paid my domestic worker on 31 October and because of the holiday FNB cleared it on 2 Nov. If that was not bad enough her salary never ended up in her Capitec bank account. Capitec Midrand first told her to wait until 5 Nov for it to clear. After 5 Nov it still has not cleared and she took proof of payment to the bank - she was told somehow the money was moved to another account and she must go and find this other account holder and get her money back from them! They even gave her the name of the person. What an asinine thing to tell a customer. After that she was repeatedly told they are "investigating". Today is 15 Nov and again she was told they are still investigating. This poor woman had to travel to Capitec Midrand several times. After 15 days she still has no money and she has to borrow money for rent, food and taxi fare because of the total incompetence of the staff at Capitec bank. Every time she has to take off time from work to go to the bank. They knew what the error was that they made and they should have corrected it there and then, and then took their own time to "investigate". They must pay her money immediately, with interest, and then compensate her for her time, money and effort, and also for emotional distress she has to endure all this time because of their negligence, incompetence and don't care attitude.
