Capitec lying and charges for it!
I recently tried paying an account via Paypal. I have a daily card limit set at R7000. The amount I tried paying was R3600. (Which is obviously less than my daily limit). I triend doing this transaction about 3 times. Every time getting an sms saying "exceeding daily limits, update card'. Now Capitec charges me R3 for every decline plus 40c per sms. This is a fault on Capitec's side and not mine. When I phoned the customer care they told me that they do not work with Paypal and never have. Which is absolute b#*&t as I have as recently as the 4th of November done a Paypal transaction. I want my bank charges returned and know why my card doesnt function with Paypal anymore.

19 Nov 2021, 08:41It was dealt with. But what is concerning is the fact that my card limits was set to 0. And definitely not by myself. Previously when I logged in my temporary limits was on "not set". A second client care agent told me that my card is faulty . Which was also now replaced. At extra cost. Not to mention all the additional banking costs for declined purchases.
