Capitec loan insurance is useless
To anyone who has loan insurance with Capitic in case of retrenchment etc, just know that it is useless. I was retrenched in July and am still waiting for them to pay my loan that was apparently approved 3 months ago already. They deduct the money every month and I am still unemployed. I visited various Capitec branches to inquire and every time they say that it will get paid in a week. Guess what, its still not paid and I dont have money to pay it this month. The Capitec insurance department is so useless!!!!!!!!! It has caused me so much emotional stress. I feel like closing my Capitec account because I am so extremely dissapointed.

06 Jan 2021, 08:16So Capitec responded to my complaint last week but my query is still not resolved. I got the same result as the previous +- 15 times I physically went into the bank and for the 20 mails I've sent. I get the same excuses every single time for the pas 5 months, "We are experiencing high volumes." Like I said, my loan insurance was approved 3 months ago but it still has not been paid....And we're talking about a small loan here. I need my installments back because I was retrenched 7 months ago and that is why I had the loan insurance....not to still pay it after I was retrenched. I need my money back as I need to buy stationary for my children. I am so frustrated with Capitec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
