Capitec Loan insurance is a ****
I was retrenched in 2024 and my insurance claiim for my loan was approved but capitec keep on deducting from my account. Went to the branch and they send email for refund but never got. Please be aware of capitec is a **** when it comes to insurance when u take a loan. I am thinking of reporting them to the ombudsman of banks because this happened several times. Do not take loans at Capitec cause u pay for insurance but they **** u afterwards

31 Jul 2025, 09:47My problem is still not solved and I only received an email and no phone call and this morning my uif money was paid in my account the first people to deduct was Capitec really this is frustrating cause even if u visit the branch u don't get help u are told that an email is send and I will get feedback and nothing happens. This is a ******* cause u pay while the insurance is approved please don't make a mistake of taking a loan with capitec they are very *********** and *****sters
