Capitec just keeps on being No 1 for useless banks in SA

Second time in not even 6 months that I have to complain about this useless excuse of a bank. I was under debt review and managed to pay all debt off last year in May. In July 2023 the debt review company sent my Clearance Certificate to all the previous creditors including Capitec Bank. All the other creditors have removed my 'under administration/ debt review' status since. Only Capitec has not actioned this. I have now numerously sent my Debt Review Clearance Certificate to the email addres provided by one of the Capitec employees after I went to a branch and on every response it is the same message; Please note that the above mentioned client is already in the debt review process with another DC (NCRDC2020)............... I have gone so far as to take snippets of the letter where the wording indicates Clearance and highlight the wording for them. I am not sure if the people there are uneducated and does not know what the word means or if they work in a department with terms they don't understand what the actual issue is??? I even asked if there is a different email I can ise and still, the same response. This useless bank is not doing their jobs and this has an effect on peoples lifes and credit scores. My next step will be to email my request to every email addres I can find on the internet irrespective of the department and this will include a liat of emails for team leaders and manager.s. The step after that will be Ombudsman. **Ps: to all thinking about using them as you primary bank, think twice, useless, no support, no safety for your money, supports ******* and not loyal customers.
