Capitec is not a bank, leave now!

******** managed to hack my bank account using my cell phone number, these ******** reversed my debit orders and sent themselves the money. These ******** reversed amounts more than R300 which is the max reversal allowed on the app. Capitec insists that they can't help me because my pin was tampered with. I don't understand how their system allowed a reversal amount above the maximum allowed by the system. This is honestly so disappointing, this is not a bank it's a Stokvel. I wish I could give them 0 they deserve -0.

Reviewer Update
I have an update on my case regarding the disputed debit orders, the agent from capitec has informed me that my case has been dismissed as no ***** was detected and they will not reimburse my money. I then asked how since their system allowed for a dispute above R300 (R2800 car payment) he then informed me that at capitec you can reverse any debit order amount there is no longer a cap amount, which I accepted. But once the call ended I consulted their website and low and behold it states that the maximum debit order amount that can be disputed or reversed is R400 on the app. It's very interesting that a company as large as capitec would not have cohesiveness between their employees and their own website. I mean who do I belive, their official website or the employee?

The capitec agent has also advise that I report this to the ombudsman.
