CAPITEC is a **** - Do not use this bank

The news about CAPITEC colluding with ************ who deducted R99 was etched in the public consciousness. If you want to reverse an unauthorised transaction, CAPITEC bank will happily charge you R80. Think about it, the bank profits from crime. The South African Reserve Bank recently introduced a debi-check mandate, which allows the account holder to authorise the debit order in advance. The fact that there was no deb-check mandate is a clear indication that foul play is present. I will be happy to move to another Bank. I deeply regret joining Capitec, this bank is a ****.
