Capitec is a big ****.

I wrote a review last week Friday about Capitec demanding that I continue paying for my loan until the insurance payout in 60days. After I wrote my review, Capitec promised to call me back and they did.

They are still adamant that I should pay for the loan until the insurance payout. Reason........the is no specific reason as to why I should be paying.

Guess what? The insurance I've is from Capitec, I am paying for it every month. To make the matter even more interesting, in their insurance terms and conditions, Capitec never disclosed that at times like this, their insurance pay out in 60 days and I will have to pay until the insurance settle the loan.

Imagine, when I apply for Capitec loan, I had to provide my payslip and all necessary documents required to prove that I am working and I can afford the loan, now that I am retrenched, I also provide all necessary documents to prove that I can't afford the loan. Now I wonder, if common sense does make sense here, if Capitec is asking me to pay, where exactly will the money come from while I also have their insurance?

Tell me if this is not a day light robery, lack of sympathy and *****ed up business principles by Capitec. Capitec is simply behaving like a loan shark if they are not already. But I am going to put up a fight. I will not be taken for a ride without any valid reason provided.
