Capitec is a **** !!!

Hey guys I would like to report capitec bank for being so ******** and so unprofessional

On Tuesday 17 October 2023 , I was at postnet sending parcels for my client as I’m selling for a living , so my card declined i quickly went to my app and it had no money , I drove to the branch while driving I called their customer care line *** They have told me that my bank was being putted on SOFT FREEZE meaning I need to update my FICA documents, when I got to the branch the lady updated my details and she gave me the email address to email my documents she even advised me to go to the police station to do the affidavit stating I am selling informally that’s where I get the money from

I did that same day I sent those emails together with the invoiced from my supplier that I get when buying hair

I called on Wednesday on the 18th they said I must wait for 24/48 hours I did

This morning sunday 22nd of October I went to Greenacres branch Port Elizabeth They called the customer care line I sent them those emails but I went home my bank is still closed , they said the customer care people are the only one they can remove a stop , while on the phone they told me that the branch they are the one to remove the stop

Fine when I got home I called the customer care , they said it’s the ***** department that can remove the stop

It is really painful what they are doing to me as their long time client they should prioritise, my clients are loosing faith in me and my business I don’t know what to do anymore
