My brother inlaw passed away and had a policy with capitec bank, it took the over a month to communicate core the payout amount after all the necessary documents have been submitted. After that they refuse to give the widow the nomination documents of how much he had covered himself and everyone, the monthly payment for the policy was over 100 and after over a month of ups and downs they only gave the widow 7000 saying the rest was taxed, since when is the life cover fees taxed in the bank? Capitec is a **** , they take peoples money without any form of remorse. The deceased had a debit order for a savings account that still capitec does not want to give us information on, to this day we have no idea where the savings went.
